Question: When you get an email from an IRS employment office from another state does it mean you have to work there?
I applied for the IRS through usajobs.gov and I received an email from the IRS saying that I qualify. The email was from the Philadelphia IRS employment office. Does that mean they want me to work in Philadelphia? I live in Southern California, but I will consider the job. Thanks.
Answer: Your presumption is correct. It means they want you to work in Philadelphia.
