Question: I’m worried about the stimulus payment. Help!?

I received stimulus payment forms in the mail from the IRS. 1 for my self and 1 for each of my girls. I receive disability and each of my girls receive death benefits. Should I fill them out and send them in individually or as 1 on mine? Would we qualify for a payment? Our combined income is just under $30,000 how much do you think we would receive? Also I heard on the news stimulus payments were being mailed to people who weren’t in titled to one so they have to pay it back. What do ya think, what should I do?

Answer: Here’s the thing. The IRS website says you don’t have to do anything but file your 2007 tax forms and that’s it. I don’t think these forms are for real. Check the website and call the 1800 number to make sure you not getting scammed.

Question: i was arrested last week and i want to sue the police department?

when a person is arrested, isn’t he or she entitled to a full body cavity search? i was not given one. i demanded one and was told a line of crap….”ms. crawley, we don’t give body cavity searches for racking up 2k in parking tickets”…bull hockey! what are my tax dollars going for? who should i address my letter to? don’t tell me to get an attorney, 5 attorneys told me they’d call me back and never have…this was 5 months ago. if i get arrested, i want what i deserve.

Answer: This is outrageous! Your constipational rights were violated and you are entitled to damages.
The 69th Amendment requires that offenders are entitled to a search of the body cavity of their choice, the only exception being if there are no rubber gloves available.
Unless you waived your right, somebody owes you a probing.

Question: 501(c)(3) tax-exepmt status…waiting for approval from the IRS but can my baseball team accept donations now?

Have a EIN number and we are a youth baseball team. Group was formed four weeks ago but wondering if I can accept donations while in the 501(c)(3) application phase? Based on the information I received, it takes 6-8 months to process? I want to make sure everything is legit?

Answer: Of course you can accept donations. But until you get approval from the IRS, inform the donors that they will not be able to take a tax deduction for their donations.
