IRS Order Forms Online

IRS Order Forms Online

Question: What does it mean when my school asks me to bring in a 1040EZ form?

Do I need to give them a filed one already? I know that I’ve filed taxes with that form, but I did not keep a copy of it and I need one from the IRS. Can I order one online? What is supposed to look like? Should it be filled up or not?

Answer: Are you apply for school loan? IF so then visit IRS website www.irs.gov and download Form 4506-T to request a Return Transcript (Free) which provides all the information you filed on your Form 1040EZ. This gives the school proof of income.
If you are taking a class where you will be learning how to fill out a Form 1040EZ then visit IRS website www.irs.gov and download the Form 1040EZ
If you are applying for school you can call IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to request the transcript.
Or visit your local IRS office to obtain the transcript. Take your picture ID with you.

Question: HELP!!! I need a copy of my tax return as soon as possible!!!?

I need my return so I can get help with my meds. I used Turbotax this year, went into my account printed and sent them my “tax summary” which is apparently different than a “return.” They called me and said they needed the return not the summary. When I try to print my return from the free Turbotax site I used, they try to charge me $30. Do I call the IRS 800 number or call Turbotax and have them fax it to me or what? I need this quickly. Thanks!
Or am I not in the right menu in Turbotax. It says print my return and then they want credit card info.

Answer: If you need an copy of the actual return IRS charges $39.00 for the copy, and takes 30 to 60 days to receive a copy. You could go to the local IRS office and request a RETURN TRANSCRIPT which is a line by line transcript of the same information you filed on your return and all loan offices and banks, school etc accept this the transcript because it is from the IRS and shows you did file a return. You can request the transcript by calling IRS at 1-800-829-1040 and they will mail it to you(takes 5-10 days) or download form 4506-T to reqeust the transcript.

IRS Forms 1099

Question: where do employers mail form 1099 to irs?

Answer: To the address that they are told to use depending on what state they are incorporated in.

Why do you ask? Be sure the IRS will get a copy and they will check it (eventually) against what you show on your tax return.
