Question: IRS.gov website?
I was supposed to receive the stimulate the economy ccheck today, however I haven’t so I went online to the IRS website. it said that i was supposed to receive my check today also, so I tried to call them. instead I kept either getting recording that stated they didn’t answer the phones and gave me other numbers to call, recordings that said they were to busy to talk, or messages that gave me the same info that my check is supposed to be direct deposited today. It wouldn’t be such a big deal that I get my check today but I need it for medical expenses .
I called my bank and nothing is pending.
Answer: Try calling 800-829-0582 X462, I called on Monday evening, held for about 10 minutes and actually talked to a live person who told me that mine would be DD today (last 2 SSN “70″) and it was.
