Question: I sent tax form 1040X to kansas city missouri from st louis, how long will it take for the IRS to receive it?

no major corrections just the refund was corrected.
Answer: It shouldnt take long for them to get it in the mail. Maybe 4 days. Then it has to sit on someones desk for a week, then that person takes a weeks vacation, they lose the forms,etc, etc. You might get your money in 2-3 months!
Closing deadline extended to Sept. 30 for Homebuyer Credit purchases
