Question: I was recently contacted by a collections agency who threatened to have my wages garnished and property seized
. They said the IRS would do this. Is this a joke or does the IRS have anything to do with this matter ? Hell I pay my taxes!
Answer: First off, only the IRS would be contacting you, they do not utalize collection agencies.
Here are some links to check out the collection agency, if they appear on any of these sights, chances are they are junk debt collectors.

Remember this, do not talk on the phone, do all correspondence via the mail. This gives you a record of events.
