Feds capture mortgage fraud fugitive in Florida

Jan. 27–Nearly three years after Michael Anthony Prieskorn disappeared, he was arrested Tuesday in Florida and accused of orchestrating one of Minnesota’s largest mortgage frauds.

Holyoke owes $48,000 to IRS

HOLYOKE – The Internal Revenue Service has fined the city nearly $48,000 for failing to file payroll records for 2006 despite 30 notices from the federal agency to the office of former City Treasurer David B. Donoghue, according to the current treasurer.
