Question: Can i pay off the mony owed to the irs by my fiance’s credit card?
I have to pay the irs but I dont have the money at the moment to may the due date. My fiance is willing to pay it off with his credit card. I tried calling the irs but is going my a msg that the phone system is down or something. My question is do they allow a credit card payment if the card is not under your name?
Answer: yes you can. all u have to do is call the irs or go on line to get the website that is partners with the irs to pay off any balance u may have. they ask for ur ss# and the card holder name an credit card #
