Question: wat is the mailing address for federal taxes if u liv in san jose, ca. i couldnt find the info on the irs site
the form im trying to mail is 1040ez
Answer: If you are going to be sending the IRS money with your return (check or money order), then mail to:
Internal Revenue Service Center
Fresno, CA 93888-0014If you are not sending a payment (i.e. you are due a refund), then mail to:
Internal Revenue Service Center
Fresno, CA 93888-0114The address given in the previous answer (with zip 93888-0002) is NOT correct in your situation. That address is for those filing Form 1040, not Form 1040EZ.
Tax Tip: choose the simplest tax form for your situation
To file your 2010 individual tax return, you’ll have to decide which form to use… unless you e-file. This year, choosing which form to file will be even more important since the IRS will no longer be mailing paper tax packages.
