Will they send a check to a forwarding address?
Answer: They will deduct what you owe them from your rebate, whether or not you have a payment plan., If there’s any left after paying the debt, they’ll send it in a paper check.
I’ve heard if it goes to the address they have on record it will not be forwarded. You need to let the IRS know your current address. You may use Form 8822, Change of Address, to submit an address or name change at any time during the year.
