Question: number to talk to a live person at the irs?
I am looking for the telephone number to actually talk to a live person at the irs, i tried last night and then again this morning and all that happened was that they kept sending me to the automated refund line. Could someone please help me get a live person.
Answer: The IRS runs on paper. Write a letter. Nothing can be accomplished by a telephone call. Most questions are answered at IRS.GOV. All forms and instructions are at IRS.GOV.
