Question: IRS Hiring Process in Atlanta,GA. 2009?
I received my JSAP test scores from the IRS and based on the usajobs.gov assessment qualification I made an passing score of 86.29 and in my email it states that I tentatively meet eligibility requirements. Applicants scoring 87.99 or higher have been scheduled to attend a fingerprint session. Does this mean that I am not getting consider for this position?, which is Contact Representative. Please only people who have accurate experience or knowledge answer. Thank you
Answer: Hi,
I work as a contact rep in Atlanta…on Buford Hwy. I know we were just hiring for contact reps and the application closed on July 24th. They sent out invites for the finger printing session on 7-29 and then scores on 7-30. If you didn’t get a 87 or better it means you didn’t get the position. The finger printing session is being held on Aug 5th at 830am.
