Question: Tax Return Mailing Address?
I purcahsed a house in April and eligible for the homebuyer credit, per the TurboTax instruction, I need to mail my 2009 tax return to the following address:
Department of the Treasury
Internal Revenue Service Center
Kansas City, MO 64999-0002But I also need to file W-7 (application for IRS individual TIN) for my mom because she’s a qualified dependent in 2009. Per W-7 form’s instruction, I need to mail my 2009 tax return with W-7 tothe following address:
ITIN Operation
P.O. Box 149342
Austin, TX 78714-9342Then, which address should I use?

but you have special add on that Turbo Tax may not be set up to deal with.
I’d send the paperwork to the ITIN Operation address but if you want to be sure then head over to the IRS website and see if they have a phone number for your locality so you can speak to a live person and tell them what you want to know.
