Question: My rather simple solution to deport illegals without arresting…?

…EVERY illegal alien. Many on the pro-amnesty side of the fence including the President had complained that simply deporting 12-20 million illegalls is unfeasible. How about imposing (upon passage into law) an immediate $100 per diem (day) fine for any illegal alien that cannot produce papers supporting their legal right to be here. These fees accrue and then after one year, wages are garnished to pay these fines. Properties will have liens as well. This is the IRS collects unpaid income taxes, so it isnt much different. Eventually if one cannot pay they are arrested and deported. This, I think, would help compel many to leave immediately, but I understand many would stay behind and probably wouldnt leave without guns blazing. I am totally against amnesty and trying to find some feasible ways to deport these people. I also understand many work “in the shadows” and are probably not paying taxes are not legal pay rolls as well, any other creative solutions for our national crisis

Answer: The best solution is to have them want to leave on their own. If we enforce the laws, and bring hefty fines down on the employers who hire them, then there won’t be jobs for them.

A 10 percent federal tax on indoor tanning that starts next month might discourage minors from tanning — but it won’t lead to a tanning booth blackout for teens.

Question: Is it true law enforcement officials have access to sealed criminal records?

If so, maybe you can answer this – a convicted felon was able to seal most of his criminal records except for drug dealing & gun possession charges. during past 5 yrs has relocated to another state & has new conviction writing bad checks & 3 warrants for tickets. Has been with his baby’s mother 4 yrs & during this time they both have defrauded Section 8, welfare, food stamps, medicaid, IRS, Unemployment out of a lot of money, there is more fraud too only have so much space to write here. When someone has A LOT of evidence to prove these facts to be true and makes phone calls to these agencies & a federal investigation is launched – won’t his sealed records & past criminal history be held against him along with his new charges? I was told it would be. How much trouble are these 2 people in for committing fraud against these government agencies? And what happens to her 4 kids if she goes to jail

Answer: Yes, to some extent. If preparing a new pre-sentence report for a new crime, then the report writer will certainly have those records and the judge imposing sentence will know of his entire record. There are other ways in which an investigating cop can access records as well. Furthermore, the feds have their own data base and that is not sealed by any order of any state court.
