Question: How do I find out what I earned from working in 2008.?
I have no check stubs,or do I even know where I was working at that time.In addition to the original question if you could provide information on the differences between IRS forms 1040,1040A,1040EZ,because I have no clue.10 points…
My reason for not knowing where I worked in 2008 is I don’t give a sh*t.Where I work now along with where I worked then are the same in the reasons that they pay me sh*t,made me feel as important as sh*t,and the people I worked with were pieces of sh*t. I need this information so I can get to school so I can care.Answer: “Which Form” is addressed at this link:

Obtain IRS Forms

Question: How do I know how much money I owe on an IRS 1090 form?
I will be obtaining a 1090 form from the place where I worked as an independent contractor over the summer. I currently have $1,002.89 saved up from my paychecks. Is there a possibility for a refund as well?
Answer: if your only income is from a 1099, then you have no tax withheld so you can;t get a refund – you will only owe tax – I hope that $1000 is equal to at least 15% of your pay, because that will be the minimum you would owe for the Self employment taxes, plus maybe more for income taxes

Texas IRS Forms

Question: Self employment tax question…?
I am confused. I have been reading off of the IRS site and their instructions for filing self employed and estimated taxes… But I still am not sure quite how to do it.
What forms do I need to fill out? How do I figure how much I need to pay, and how do I pay it?
I was kinda forced into opening up my own part time janitorial business. I am a sole proprietor and since Jan 1st I have been making $1495 a month, and I need to know how to do this stuff, but the IRS website isn’t giving me all the information I need, or at least it isn’t “dumbing it down” enough for me. =/
I only have 6 more days, help me!!
(btw, I live in Texas)
Answer: File a schedule C to report your earnings and expenses. The net amount will then be used to calculate the SE tax using form SE. That’s the general flow. If you have to do this quickly and you’re still confused, I would run out and buy the H&R Block home software. They will carry you through the process in an interview format and fill in the correct forms. Otherwise, refer to the IRS website for instructions. You will need to file a sch C, sch SE, and the numbers from both will go to your 1040.

Question: Has anyone received an IRS Form 8009? What is the form for?
I received a Form 8009 from the IRS. I tried to call them at the number listed. Stayed on “hold” for 45 min & still didn’t get an answer.
Answer: To get a human being, call the IRS at 1-800-829-3676,or, if the notice is in regard to a business, call 1-800-829-1105. If no luck, you may want to call 1-800-829-1040. You may only have to wait 15-20 minutes now. You could go to your local IRS office. Now that tax season is over, you should be able to see an IRS representative without having to set up an appointment for a future date.
I see 3 possibilities:
1) You mean an IRS Form 8809, Information Return. The IRS wants info from you regarding W-2, 5498s, 5498-ESA, 1098s or 1099s.
2) You mean an IRS form 8109-B. That’s the booklet. You just commenced a business.
3) You mean an IRS Form 8508. You are a business that filed a Request for Waiver From Filing Information Returns Electronically/ Magnetically
