So if I claimed that I was taken back in time by a prophet to form this church in 1949? Perhaps that would work!

Answer: Wrong form. Only your clergy could use form 4361 and that would exempt only their church-related pay.

The form 4029 is what the members use and you’ll need a time machine to be able to found the church by the cutoff date of 12/31/1950.

Question: iS GeT MY FrEE LapTOP dot com a scam?

Is get my free laptop dot com a scam?
I jumped through the hoops for this “free” laptop, spent a lot of money getting to the point where I acutally “earned my certificate” for the “free” laptop.
I printed it out and low and behold, they say it’s a “GIFT”. Now I have to fill out the form requiring my Social Security Number and have it notorized before I can send it.
When I get my “free” laptop, they will send a form with my Social Security Number to the IRS stating it was a “gift!?”
Has anyone ever been as fooled as I was about this program? I’m still signed up with some video/CD club until I purchase two more…
I’d rather not claim my “free” laptop if it’s going to cost me the possibility of identity theft!!!
I think this is a scam. I could have BOUGHT the laptop with all the money I spent on their “free trial” Bullsh*t.
They don’t tell you up front about the SSN being needed.

2009 Tax Extension

Question: I live in Utah but work for a company in DC. What tax forms, or tax information do I need to give my employer?

I’ve provided personal identification and proof of citizenship. Now they ask for a “state W2″. Is there such a thing? I know the IRS has one you can print off their site.

Answer: Ask them to clarify what they are looking for. Utah withholding uses the numbers off of the FEDERAL W-4.
