Question: Where is my tax refund???!!?

Okay- so my tax refund wasn’t there on Friday the 15th, and the IRS says that it was direct deposited. My bank says they never received it, and it’s tuesday and now I’m freaking because I was really counting on that money. My bank account information the IRS has it correct because I checked it. Anyone else have problems like this?
Okay, so the first person was right, but now I have found out the bank that takes the fees out doesn’t have my money, the IRS doesn’t have my money AND my bank doesn’t have my money…WHAT IS GOING ON?

Answer: It sounds like your refund may have been stopped by the IRS at the last minute. The same thing you have experienced has happened to hundreds of others. They check the IRS website and it says deposited. They call the IRS and the reps say the money was deposited. They call their bank and the bank says they have not received the money. Several days later they find out their refund is delayed with some random reference code and their refund is now in limbo. Keep any eye on this. Hopefully this did not happen to you but I wanted to let you know that your problems sound the same as many other individuals. Best of luck.
